What are the most important things in your life?

Lost his arms from an accident at age 10, Liu Wei from Beijing, China never gives up living strong. He managed to do everything with his feet and started to learn to play piano at age 19. His dream is to become a musician. When he just turned 23, he won the China's Got Talent Show in Oct. 2010.

(The video has English subtitles.)

When one of the judges asked Liu Wei why he worked so hard, he replied "I can't live without three things: air, water and music." What are the most important things in your life?

When I finish crying my eyes out, I am going to go play my piano with a new outlook - a sincere gratefulness and thankfulness that I can play and have hands and arms. Wow, such a desire and wherewithal this young man has. His determination not to let anything stop him from expressing himself through music should be a message we can all learn from. I know it has touched me very deeply. Thank you, Yoke.

I first saw this amazing person on television some time ago and though how absolutely amazing to have achieved to play a piano with his feet. Thank you for this video, this young person is truly amazing, I really felt so proud of him for his achievement knowing how hard he must have worked. As a parent of a disabled daughter I feel that his parents should be truly proud. I wish him all the luck in the world.

Iam 56 yeas old and I start learning to play piano buy my self and with you help from you tube or other free channels Every time I played I faced a lot of difficulty to continu but when I saw this guy playing with his feet I relalised that I have to continue and not to give up! Some day I will sucseese ILike the you you present and explain how to play buy your lessons Thank you

It has been almost 2 years I can't play the piano.It's sad and suffering.I love to play piano!but now I can't play it.My right shoulder and wrist is injured and cause tenosynovitis & supraspinatus tendinitis.Thus,I can't play piano and it's painful.Once I play piano,my hand's condition is getting worse.My friends laugh at me,nobody can feel the pain that I can't play piano. When I watch this video,it made me cry.He inspires me.He is amazing!! I want to play piano!

the video is inspiring. I can relate to Alice's comment about an arm injury. I am in a similar position. and have not been able to play for over a year. My condition is improving, but for this entire time, I felt like I had lost a part of me. My friends and family do not understand that piano playing gives me joy and happiness. I just stated playing again, but my shoulder and arms ache afterwards. I am improving somewhat. I hope that Alice finds some relief and medical solution that allows her to play again.
