What I like from your lectures is the personal feeling.
I am a 40+ years old medical doctor with very busy life. I have followed your CD/DVD course since 2002, but I failed to have time for practice. I have learned classical piano play when I was a child, but I am lost around after growing up. I dream to play piano improvisation, for me, and maybe, for the Lord, in the future. What I like from your lectures is the personal feeling. It is not like spending money buying a CD, it really feels like having a piano teacher, who cares, and who helps. I wish you all the best and to continue your good job, so I can purchase more lectures in the future! For the Practical Guide to Piano Playing, it is useful for me. I play a little bit of piano, but I have no music theory knowlegde at all. It is not a boring theoretical book, but a livid question and answer book for piano playing improvement purpose. Of course, some chapters are too brief, but it is only a guideline, showing us the way, and to inspire us for further research. I like it.

In 2 month I will be 60 years old, and retiering.
Thank You - Yoke Wong - so very, very much. In 2 month I will be 60 years old, and retiering. Four weeks ago I bought ALL of Your piano lessons right away as a present from me to me!! I've had som delay because of import-taxes. Also in advance my dear old mother (91 years old) fulfilleded my piano-dream of a brandnew Professionel Roland 88 keys keyboard (PF4)- for her little baby's birthday. I received it 2 weeks ago. So now I'm practicing every day using the 7/20 technique and via implementing "the elephant" technique as well (One bite at a time). I'm having so much fun!! Your Cources are excatly, what I've been looking for.It is 35 years ago since I took piano lessons and played on a regularly basis. It was not very fun. I simply had no understanding of what I was doing!! Your way of teaching is so brilliant - and I like to study on my own as well. Keep on the good work - so will I. I'm looking forward to everything new from "Your hands" I strongly recommend Your Cource(s). God bless You...Yoke!

I took a couple of years of piano when I was in grade school many years ago.
I also am enjoying your course and have gone about half way through the first dvd. I would recommend it to anyone who is begining to play. I took a couple of years of piano when I was in grade school many years ago. My husband bought a piano for me in 2007. I play for him every day. I don't know a lot, but have come a long way since then. Keep up the good work on the lessons. It is a pleasure to watch you play.

She seems genuinely concerned that you get something out of her courses
I am 54 years old and became interested in learning how to play the piano about a year ago. Since I don't have a teacher yet, I purchased several piano lesson DVD sets from different sources. I have found that Yoke Wong's DVD courses are by far the best (especially the sight reading course). She presents the learning material in a more human way than the rest through her DVD lessons, books. pdf files and email tips. She seems genuinely concerned that you get something out of her courses and progress at your piano playing abilities. Its almost like having a real piano teacher. I highly recommend this DVD course and any other Yoke Wong piano course.

I am very, very happy to have discovered you site and all your courses, because your way of teaching and showing tips helps me a lot in my journey in understanding piano. As a matter of fact I had lost all my will in learning piano due to the fact that I am alone and nobody around me is interested in classical music. So for me is difficult to progress without any help. The discover of your lessons are really helping me hand in hand to take back this passion and continue my technicla and spiritual journey.. God bless you for all your dedication to us, lone pupils around the globe trying to progree in this fantstic world of classical music.
